Happy Birthday and Thank you to Yvonne Milliken
Everyone at Arbroath FC would like to wish Yvonne Milliken a very Happy Birthday!
Yvonne is a great supporter and friend of the club, a member of TASC 1878 (Tuttie’s Arbroath Supporters Club) and for the past 5 seasons has helped at Gayfield looking after our Young Lichties co-ordinating and looking after our Youth Match Experience Teams and ball boys.
Yvonne has also decided to hang up her boots and is stepping down from helping at Gayfield on a Saturday.
We would like to thank Yvonne for all of her work behind the scenes on a match day at Gayfield. A natural with children, she has been an integral part of match-days and has looked after hundreds of children in that time with several football clubs visiting repeatedly.
Arbroath Director Brian Cargill said “It has been a real privilege having Yvonne at Gayfield over the past 5 seasons and she has been the perfect volunteer. Blair and his friends have got to know Yvonne really well as ball boys and she will really be missed.”
Mike Caird, Arbroath Chairman added “Whilst most supporters see the Players and Management Team on a Saturday we have a small army of volunteers who play just an important role of the success of Arbroath Football Club and are key members of the team. Yvonne has been a pivotal part of Saturday’s over the past 5 seasons at Gayfield and Yvonne has been key in making sure our Youth Match Day Experience Teams and Ball Boys have all ran smoothly. We will all miss her and we would like to thank her for commitment to the club, support and hope we will continue to see her at Gayfield.”
