Jermaine Hylton
Arbroath FC are delighted to announce the signing of 30-year-old forward player Jermaine Hylton on a contract until January 2024 subject to international clearance.
Jermaine who can play on the wing or as a striker played for Arbroath as a trialist in the pre-season friendly against Dundee.
The Scottish game is one Jermaine knows well having played for two premiership clubs, with 41 games for Motherwell, scoring 4 goals and also having played 23, scoring 1 goal for Ross County.
Jermaine came through the youth ranks at Kidderminster Harries and Birmingham City before joining non-league side Redditch United where he scored 45 goals in 54 appearances.
His goals caught the eye of Swindon Town who signed up him on a 2-and-a-half year deal in January 2015. A move to Solihull Motors followed in July 2017 after impressing on trial.
In the 2018-2019 season, Solihull Motors finished 2nd behind Salford City in England’s fifth tier, and his 15 goals caught the eye of then Motherwell Manager Stephen Robinson who signed him up after describing him as “dynamic, sharp and knows where the net is.”
Ross County was next for Jermaine where he spent a season in the Highlands before moving to English League Two side Newport County.
Jermaine’s last Club was National League North side, Rushall Olympic.

Jermaine will wear the number 24 shirt for Arbroath.
