Arbroath FC are delighted to welcome Charlie Reilly to Gayfield Park on a loan agreement until the end of the season.
Charlie is an exciting, attacking wide player who loves to play with the ball at his feet and isn’t short of a few goals.
Charlie came through a very successful Hamilton Academical Academy side who won the Elite youth league before signing his first professional contract at The Accies. A loan spell at Airdrieonians followed before a move to Partick then to Albion Rovers where his performances saw him snapped up by SPL side Dundee FC.
Arbroath FC Manger Jim Mcintyre commented “It’s great to be able to bring Charlie in to play for the remainder of the season. He’s a fast, mobile and clever player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. As his record shows, he’s not shy in front of goal and I’m excited to see him here at Gayfield for the rest of the season”.
Charlie said “I’m really looking forward to getting some minutes under my belt after a few injuries this season. I feel like I’m back match-fit and with Arbroath being 15 minutes from my front door and having a good squad with a lot of really good players returning, it was an easy decision for me. I had a great session last night meeting the boys and getting stuck in, now I’m excited to pull on the Jersey and do what I can to help get some points”.
Charlie will wear the number 25 Jersey for The Lichties and is available for tomorrow’s fixture vs Inverness CT.
