Neil’s return to Gayfield yesterday also seen him pick up his camera and from a new location filmed the game.

Neil took to twitter to share his thoughts;

“Well I yesterday managed back to Gayfield yesterday for the first time since my stroke.

I filmed the match edited it to highlights and there out for all to see, I am one handed just now and my memory as taken a bit of a battering as well. It will take me a long time to get anywhere near back to normal if ever.

I am willing to step down if someone else wants to take over. If not, then I will be back next Saturday for the Q.O.S. Match to open the season with, then as many home games only as I can manage after that.

It goes without saying we are thrilled not only to see Neil Douglas back at Gayfield but back with his camera doing something he loves so much.
