At 3pm on Saturday afternoon we had a minute’s applause to pay tribute to our friend and former Manager and player John McGlashan.
For such a warm and positive Gentleman it seemed that a minutes applause was a more fitting tribute.
With the Gayfield Flag at half mast, and the Arbroath players wearing a black armband as a mark of respect, Gayfield stood to their feet to remember John.
We are still in shock over the passing of our great friend and our thoughts and support are with his family and loved ones.
