Thank you to all players of the Lichties Bonus Ball
On the evening of the final Lichtie Bonus Ball of 2020, everyone at Arbroath FC would like to thank all those players of our Lichties Bonus Ball, be it if you have played every single month since we started or just bought your first ball for 2021.
The Lichties Bonus Ball is one of the ongoing initiatives which helps bring in funds to Arbroath Football Club, with 59 Lichties all playing every month to match the bonus ball of the last National Lottery Saturday draw of the month.
Each month a winner is crowned picking up £450 for their win, with a November winner picking up £900 just in time for Christmas.
Whoever wins tonight will be celebrating and toasting in the new year with an extra £450 in their back account.
The backing of our football club from our community and beyond this year has just been overwhelming to everyone of us. We are all living and surviving through one of the most difficult periods that we have faced in our lifetimes and we are all hoping it will soon be a chapter in the history books as we will be able to return to normal life and part of that will be having our amazing supporters return to Gayfield.
Whilst we are in the fortunate enough position to keep playing on, it certainly isn’t the same without our fans all round Gayfield Park and those following us for miles and miles all over Scotland.
Your backing, and support for the Lichties Bonus Ball has helped us keeping playing and being able to keep Gayfield up and running. We are grateful for your support at all times, but especially right now in this period where we are all dealing with sacrifices we are particularly touched.
