Scott Gallacher
It sadly has come to that time of the year when we announce player departures. This is always difficult as we have such a good dressing room and team. It is perhaps even stranger this season as some of our players will have signed and left without any fans ever having the chance to see them play live.
We can confirm that goalkeeper Scott Gallacher has left Arbroath FC.
Everyone at Arbroath FC would like to thank Goalkeeper Scott Gallacher for the past season he has spent at Gayfield.
Highly Experienced Scott joined the club at the end of July 2020 and made two substitute appearances in our pre-season friendlies against Forfar Athletic and Formartine United.
The position of the goalkeeper is one of the hardest on the team and the most competitive. With the form of Derek Gaston it has been hard to wrestle the number one shirt.
Like all our players, Scott has shown great dedication to the club, with countless miles put in for traveling and game days.
We wish Scott all the very best in the future and again would like to thank him for his time with the Lichties.
