Kevin Milne
Arbroath FC can today confirm that our Sport Scientist Kevin Milne is set to leave the club and join Dundee FC as they return to the Scottish Premiership.
This is a fantastic career opportunity for Kevin who will go full time working as a physiotherapist for the Dens Park Club.
Kevin who already held a BSc in Sports Science recently obtained a Master’s from Edinburgh Queen Margaret University in Physiotherapy and during his Master’s gained experience with placements at Ninewells in both the Stroke Unit and the Surgical High Dependency Unit as well as placements at in Cupar and at King’s Cross Hospital in Dundee.
Kevin has been working for the Angus Physio Clinic as well as his role as Sports Scientist with Arbroath but will now into a full time position with Dundee FC.
It is now 3 years and 3 months since Kevin joined Arbroath with his first game a goalless draw with Dunfermline Athletic on 4th March 2020 and he has become a pivotal part of the Arbroath family.
Always smiling and with time for everyone, Kevin is passionate about both Physiotherapy and Sports Science and has been working hard developing new ways to monitor our players and has worked closely along colleagues and good friends in our Physio Craig Reynolds and Doctor Callum Innes.
He has made sure our players have been ready for matches and at training has overseen their fitness and worked closely with our Manager Dick Campbell and the rest of the coaching staff.
Not only has Kevin become a huge fan of the Lichties but his parents have been coming along to games to cheer on the team.
We are losing not only a talented member of our team, but a very good friend who has shown nothing but the upmost dedication and passion for his time at Gayfield.
We know he won’t be a stranger and the door will always be open for a return to the Club.
Best of luck Kevin, and thank you!
C’mon the Lichties
