Our relationship and friendship with DH Robertsons has been long served and we know just how much our supporters and those visiting Gayfield love their pies.
The Steak and Black Pudding Pie in particular is a BIG favourite and we were thrilled when DH Robertson won GOLD for their Steak and Black Pudding Pie at the recent World Championship Scotch Pie Awards 2022.
It was a hat-trick for DH Robertson who also won DIAMOND for their Sausage Rolls and BRONZE for their Chicken Pies!
It was to get even better for our local butcher as their beef-link sausages were awarded top prize in the 2022 Scottish Craft Butchers Awards!
In addition to the product awards, Ariane Bennett was also the winner of the Level 3 Apprentice of the Year at the recent Scottish Craft Butcher Training Awards held in November.
Last night Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell and Striker Luke Donnelly met up with the team from DH Robertson and their awards.
Steve, Pam, Ariane Bennett and everyone at DH Robertson deserve their awards and we are proud to have such a great relationship with an award winning local business who have been great friends and sponsors over the years.
