Arbroath FC Women’s Head Coach – Stuart Melville
We are delighted to welcome Stuart Melville as our New Arbroath FC Women’s Head Coach.
Stuart has been involved in the Girls and Women’s section of the game for the last six years previously with Dryburgh Athletic and St James.
Stuart held the post as Head Coach for Dryburgh Athletic U16s, then progressing to U18s, where he managed to get the team to their first-ever cup final.
While at Dryburgh he also held the reins of SWFL Development team for a period of 6 months while the search for new Head Coach was ongoing.
At St James Stuart had success winning the U13s league as well as runner up previous year.
Stuart had this to say on joining Arbroath FC Women “I am delighted and privileged to be given the opportunity to be the first Head Coach of a new and exciting future for Arbroath FC Women.
The passion and commitment to the local community and beyond is very obvious from my meetings with the committee.
I can’t wait to get started on the new Journey as an Arbroath FC Women’s coach and help develop players in the coming seasons.”
We wish Stuart all the best in this new and exciting chapter.
