Stenhousemuir vs Arbroath – Match Preview
Match Day 21 – Ladbrokes League 1 – Season 2018 / 2019
Saturday 12th January 2019, Ochilview Park, Stenhousemuir – 3.00pm kick off
The Lichties take to the road again tomorrow as we take on Colin McMenamin’s Stenhousemuir at Ochilview.
The Warriors will be motivated for the game after suffering a heavy defeat away to Raith Rovers last weekend where defender Conor McBrearty was sent off after just 21 minutes then goalkeeper Graeme Smith was fired off injured after 56 minutes.
Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell makes his return to the dugout after serving his 8 match suspension and everyone is delighted that he is back.
Stenhousemuir Team News
Kevin O’Hara and Harry Paton have both been recalled from their loan spell at Stenhousemuir by parent clubs Falkirk and Ross County but Stenhousemuir have boosted their squad by signing attacking midfielder Russell Dingwall on loan from Ross County. It is not known if keeper Graeme Smith has overcome his injury and will be fit enough to feature.
Arbroath Team News
Arbroath will welcome new signing Luke Donnelly to the squad and there will also be a return for Club Captain Mark Whatley. Everyone behind the scenes is working hard on making the squad stronger over the winter transfer period which for League One clubs ends at the end of February.
Our first match at Ochilview this season was one of the toughest away fixtures we have had this season so we know we will be in for another tough game.
We are always grateful for your support and hope to see a large traveling support cheering on the Lichties!
