We wanted to bring you an update on the current status of some of our team who are currently on the sidelines.
Steven Doris injured his knee at home to Albion Rovers on the 9th of September and had been making steady progress towards a return to full training – unfortunately he suffered a setback last week with indications suggesting he may be out for longer than initially anticipated.
Meanwhile, Josh Skelly suffered a re occurrence of his hamstring problem at home to Airdrieonians a fotrnight ago. The club are consequently keen to take a slower and more gradual approach with Josh as he continues to work towards full fitness.
Ricky Gomes who has been out since sustaining concussion and damage to his teeth against Alloa in the BetFred Cup in July returned to his native Canada recently and is receiving further treatment there. He is expected back in the next couple of weeks where we are expecting he can resume full training again.
With Ricky injured you may have noticed that Rab Douglas has answered another SOS call from Dick and his experience in the dugout and at training will be invaluable over the coming weeks.
