There wasn’t much to write home about in the Angus derby at Gayfield as Arbroath and Brechin played out a fairly uneventful 90 minutes. The undeniable stand-out was Linn, who impressed on both wings and provided the cross for Ryan McCord’s winning goal. He also earned a penalty in stoppage time – only for McCord to smash it high over the bar!
