Scott (21) returns to his parent club Hibernian after a very successful spell at Gayfield.
Scott actually came on as a substitute against the Lichties in the Betfred Cup back in July at Easter Road before making the loan switch to Gayfield in November 2017 making his debut against Ayr United.
Scott’s energy and enthusiasm matched with his skill made him a stand out in midfield and a real fan favourite in his spell at Gayfield.
Scott’s determination and drive on the pitch makes him a player that all teams dream of having in their side. Winning the ball all over the pitch before running forward and sailing past the opposition week in and week out, and even recently when we were 5-0 up at East Fife, Scott was still chasing the ball in the 86th minute like we were behind.
All in all Scott made 26 appearances for the Lichties since moving to Gayfield back in November.
Scott was named young player of the year, and Tutties young player of the year and he sadly leaves Gayfield returning to Hibernian and we do hope that he gains the success and plaudits he deserves.
We would like to thank Scott for his time at Gayfield and to Hibernian for allowing Scott to play at Gayfield.
We wish Scott all the best, and will welcome him back anytime.
