Arbroath Football Club is delighted to announce that fan favourite Ricky Little has signed a year extension to his present deal keeping him at Gayfield until the end of the 2018/19 season.
This is the perfect news for a Monday morning and keeps the buzz from the weekend going!
Ricky joined Arbroath in the summer of 2013 and despite an early setback in his Arbroath career through injury, Ricky hasn’t looked back.
Having been named 4 times in the Scottish PFA Team of the year (2 with Arbroath, 2 with Queen’s Park) he was also named in the SPFL 2016 / 2017 League 2 team of the year alongside team mates Ryan McCord and Colin Hamilton.
A partnership with Hamilton was the backbone of the defence which only conceded 36 goals all season and secured his greatest achievement so far at Gayfield the SPFL Ladbrokes League 2 Championship Trophy.
Ricky always gives everything on the pitch and when you consider he is based in Ayrshire his dedication really is 110%
