Premier Sports Cup – Group E Fixtures
This afternoon the fixtures for our Premier Sports Cup Group E have been announced.
They are as follows,
Matchday 1
St Mirren vs Arbroath – Saturday 9th July – 3pm kick off
Matchday 2
Arbroath vs Cowdenbeath – Wednesday 13th July – 7.45pm kick off
Matchday 3
Edinburgh City vs Arbroath – Saturday 16th July – 3pm kick off
Matchday 4
Arbroath vs Airdrieonians – Saturday 23rd July – 3pm kick off
Format
3 points for a win and one point for a draw. Drawn matches in the group stage to straight to a penalty shoot-out, with the winners awarded a bonus point.
The eight group winners and the three best runners-up qualify for the last 16, where they are joined by European entrants Celtic, Rangers, Heart of Midlothian, Dundee United and Motherwell.

Second Round – Midweek of August 30th / 31st 2022
Quarter Finals – Midweek of October – 18th / 19th / 20th 2022
Semi-finals – Weekend of January 14th / 15th 2023
Final – Sunday 26th February 2023
