Arbroath FC are delighted to announce that winger Omar Kader has agreed a contract extension and will enter his 4th season with the Lichties as we enter the Championship.
Omar moved to Gayfield in May 2016 from Station Park and won the Ladbrokes League Two trophy in his first season with the Lichties!
Omar scored 6 goals in his debut season, with 1 in the Betfred Cup and 5 in the league and in total made 27 starts and 14 appearances off the bench.
In 2017/2018 Omar was part of the Arbroath team that made the Championship play offs and again Omar scored 5 league goals. Omar made 20 starts and a further 16 appearances from the bench.
This season Omar lifted the Ladbrokes League One Trophy making it two titles in 3 seasons with 1 league goal but a further 23 starting appearances and 14 appearances from the bench.
70 and (44) takes Omar to 114 competitive games for the Lichties as he enters his 4th season with us as we enter the Championship!
Omar staying at Gayfield for another season keeps the excellent team continuity which has been pivotal in our success over the last 3 seasons.
