New Club Record – 10 consecutive away games undefeated
Our draw at Borough Briggs on Saturday set a new club record as Dick Campbell’s team have went 10 consecutive away games undefeated!
The record of 9 games was set when current coach John Young was manager at Gayfield in 1989.
This is a nice record as we go into the final quarter of the season and credit to the hard work and determination of the entire squad and coaching staff and of course Dick and Ian Campbell.
We are down to our final 9 games and need your support more than ever as we enter the most exciting part of the season.
C’mon the Lichties!
10 – Arbroath remain six points behind Forfar Athletic at the top of Ladbrokes League 2 after drawing 0-0 with Elgin City at Borough Briggs on Saturday. Dick Campbell’s side set a new club record for consecutive away league games without a defeat – they have gone 10 without losing on the road since a 3-2 reverse at Broadwood in September.
The Red Lichties have lost just one away fixture in League 2 this season, which is in stark contrast to last term’s campaign, when they lost 10 of their 18 away matches.
