We were sent this song and information below from musician Neil Grant who has penned us a new song!
What do you think?
My name is Neil Grant, a Scottish football song-writer now based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Simply put; I am a huge fan of Scottish football and miss everything our game about since settling with my family in Sweden 7 years ago.
Therefore i love to invest my time into composing/recording songs for clubs which I admire.
I’m proud to say that my hard work over the last few years has turned me into Scottish footballs most commonly-used anthem-writer with 7 Scottish clubs now playing my anthems at their respective home games.
(St Johnstone/Ross County/ Cowdenbeath /Dumbarton/Montrose/Stranraer)….. A huge honour!
My attraction to Arbroath stems mainly from the iconic location of the stadium and general setting of the town. The club has always had a real hard-working ethic to it, which has been easy to admire over the years.
So after several months in my home studio, I composed and recorded an Arbroath FC song! I am chuffed with the result: A catchy sing-a-long style song, taylor-made for the terraces with lyrics spanning the clubs history.
I’ve already made some contact with supporters groups and the track has been received very warmly indeed.
