Good Morning and Merry Christmas Lichties!
On behalf of everyone at Arbroath FC we would like to wish all Red Lichties everywhere a very Merry Christmas!
As we approach the end of 2018 it has been another phenomenal year for Arbroath Football Club and one we are very thankful for.
We have dared to dream and we sit proudly at the top of League One. We may have just suffered our first league defeat of the season but we went an incredible 17 games undefeated and before Saturday you have to go back 9 months until the 24th of March for our last league defeat at Gayfield.
We continue to grow strong links with our community from our Youth Match Day Experience, Football Fans in Training, Festive Friends as well as many other acts on a weekly basis.
Gayfield continues to be improved as does our talented squad of players who have a very strong bond and spirit instilled by their Manager and coaches.
We continue to have the loyal support of you our supporters as you continue to follow our club from Elgin to Stranraer and everywhere in between.
You are the life blood of our club and we are very grateful that you are always with us. Not only supporting the club on match days but coming to Hospitality, buying a Lichtie Bonus Ball, sponsoring our players etc.
Which leads us on to our ever growing list of sponsors, and advertisers who are crucial in our growth.
Not forgetting the committee members and those people who work so hard behind the scenes all year round pushing and striving for us to be a better club on and off the pitch.
We raise a glass to those that we have lost this year, from our very own John Ritchie to those loyal supporters in the terraces who came week in and out. We are thinking of you and your families today.
We hope you all have a wonderful Happy and Healthy Christmas and spend time with those that you love.
Last but not least, please pop in and check in with your friends or neighbours who may be alone this year – nobody should spend Christmas alone! A knock on their door or a quick phone call can make their day.
