Arbroath Football Club is seeking a motived and unique volunteer videographer to join the club and as we look forward to another pulsating season.
The main responsibilities of the role include capturing the action of a live match day (18 League Games at Gayfield, 18 Away from Arbroath, and cup / friendly matches) and editing it down to a 8-12 minute highlight package which can be used on the club’s different platforms including the Website and official social media – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
As well as having their work shared on the official Arbroath channels and the SPFL channel there is always the chance that a unique moment during a game will bring a much larger reach – although we can’t always guarantee that Bobby Linn will be hit by a wave for another viral video!
The successful candidate will be given access to Gayfield and all away stadia and will have access to the Arbroath playing squad and management team on match days for interviews.
Ideally candidates will have a knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or a similar editing suite to cut the highlights down into a highlight package and a suitable camera to capture the action.
There is the chance for the candidate to put their own stamp of identity on the highlight package, team graphics and logo. We highly encourage those who think out of the box and have their own ideas to apply.
