We are saying goodbye to striker Martin ‘Jimmy’ Scott. The popular attacking player has signed for Stenhousemuir for the 2017 / 2018 season.
Martin was a tremendously popular player with the supporters and his team mates after arriving at Gayfield in July 2016 from Salgaocar FC in India.
Martin made 22 league appearances and a further 4 as a substitute in League 2 scoring 9 goals, and also made 2 appearances in the Scottish Cup, 2 in the Bet Fred Cup, and 2 in the Irn Bru cup and he also scored a goal against the Inverness Caledonian Thistle Colt side.
In total Martin made 28 starts, 4 appearances from the bench and scored 10 goals. However his goal against Stirling Albion on the final day of the season which helped clinch our league title will be the one most supporters will remember for years to come.
Everyone would like to thank Martin for his season at Gayfield and we wish him the very best for the future.
