Lifelong Arbroath supporter (Dr) Allen Armstrong is disappointed to be missing three key games over the festive break.
Now based in Fife, as a season ticket holder (and shareholder and bonus ball holder to boot!), he doesn’t miss many games to add his loud and irritating voice from the terraces seeking to influence proceedings on the park.
This year, he’s on a worktrip to Sumatra, Indonesia (in picture) and Cambodia so can’t make any of them and missed out on Christmas, New Year and his birthday!
“The only minor advantage is the weather which is a tad warmer than air conditioned Gayfield or Links Park. But it’s excruciating waiting up late here to follow the live scorelines on the internet. Our long unbeaten run was unprecedented in my 50+ years as a Lichtie but we knew it couldn’t continue so maybe Raith have done us a favour by removing that minor distraction.”
