This “Lichtie Trophy Tour” has seen some well known locals and also club sponsors see the trophy. Here are a sample of some of the lucky ones to see and get their hands on the trophy.
Edwin has only been to two Arbroath games, and he has already seen us win a trophy. One of the games was against Stirling earlier this month and it was been enough to convert him to an Arbroath fan. Welcome to the elite supporters club Edwin.
The trophy visited McKays the Boat Builders today. Paul and Lynn are huge Arbroath fans and enjoyed sharing the trophy with Edwin.
Gayfield had visitors to the ground today. A couple who are Luton Town supporters. They were fortunate to get their hands on the trophy and promised to return during the season to cheer the Lichties on. Haste Ye Back

History meets history. The trophy has many years of stories and history behind it. The building in the background (Arbroath Abbey) could also tell a few tales from the past too I’m sure.
Kathy Black (son of Arbroath FC photographer Graham Black) was delighted to get her hands on the trophy at St Andrews Church. Kathy said this was the best photograph she had seen all year !!!
June Watson who was celebrating her 71st birthday got a surprise “Trophyagram” for her birthday.
Dan Wood who was celebrating his 85th birthday had a special day with his family made even more special when he got his hands on the trophy.
AUCC President Geoff Fisher and local businessman and supporter of Arbroath FC Gordon Spink were delighted to get their picture taken with the trophy.
The trophy visited Arbroath Cricket Club who are used to having national silverware around the club. Gary Burnett and President Geoff Fisher look delighted to have got their hands on another trophy, but played with a bigger ball.
Bryan Wylie and Steven Simpson of Ewarts Butchers (Carnoustie) got their chance to have a picture taken with the trophy. Arbroath fan Bryan, and son of well known Arbroath High School FP’s legend Dave Wylie was especially delighted to get his picture taken with the trophy. Result – Bryan 1 – Dad Dave 0.
Loula Makaronis owner of Guys Cutz barbers and her staff got their hands on the trophy. Guys Cutz have been great supporters of the club.
These two lucky Warddykes PS pupils got their hands on the trophy.
Maureen Fulton visited Warddykes Primary School with the trophy and enthralled the kids with her many stories of following the club over many years.

Jim Liddle who has supported the club for many years enjoyed some time on Sunday evening with the trophy. It was a pleasure and a great experience sitting with Jim and listening to his wonderful stories of his time following the Lichties over many many years. Great Lichtie fans Mike Garret and Willie Lyall set the trophy visit up and it really gave Jim a boost. Jim goes into hospital for an operation this week and everyone at the club would like to wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.
The last thing big Lichtie fan John Cruickshank thought he would be doing when he went for his late night shop at Asda was to be getting his hands on the Division 2 trophy.
Lichtie fans Tam Watson & Jock McGurk got a hold of the trophy. Tam said it was the first football trophy he has held since the Watters Cup final many years ago.
Ray Cargill who doesn’t get down to Gayfield as much as he would like now was delighted to see and hold the trophy this week.
Brenda Miller of “Millers of Carnoustie” was delighted to have the trophy on show at the opening night of their new showroom in Carnoustie.
