Leighton McIntosh

Leighton (25) returned to Gayfield after having originally had a loan spell on loan from Dundee in the 2013/2014 season when he scored against Ayr United and Forfar Athletic.

Leighton returned to Gayfield after returning from a spell in Iceland with UMF Selfoss where he was full time.

Originally signing on amateur terms, Leighton kicked off his second stint in spell as he came off the bench to score twice against Berwick Rangers before adding another goal Against Forfar Athletic the following week.

Leighton then scored in the 3 consecutive matches against East Fife, Forfar Athletic and a stunning winner over Ayr United.

Another dramatic goal game against Raith Rovers in the final minute before another goal against Raith at Gayfield, and goals against East Fife and Ayr United.

Leighton made 25 appearances this season with 11 starts scoring 5 goals, and then scored another 5 goals as he came off the bench in dramatic and effective fashion.

Again we would like to thank Leighton for his time at Gayfield and wish him the best of luck in the next chapter of his footballing career.
