Tom Cargill played more first team matches than anyone else at the Club in a career from 1966 to 1981. He helped the Lichties win promotion in seasons 1967/68 and 1971/72 and was awarded a testimonial against a star studded Alex Ferguson Aberdeen side in 1980. He would eventually retire after making 445 appearances and kept close links with the Club, actively volunteering within the community.
