Paul Sheerin took over as Player/Manager at the start of season 2010/11 soon after the Club had been relegated to Division 3. The wing wizard quickly turned the fortunes of the Club around, assembling an exciting and attacking football side that won its first ever title at the end of that season. Success continued for the former St Johnstone and Aberdeen man with a highlight being a 1-1 draw in the Scottish Cup away at Celtic Park in December 2012 and only narrowly losing 1-0 at Gayfield in the replay on a bitterly cold night. Sheerin eventually left the Lichties in 2014 to take up a coaching role at Aberdeen.
