Josh (21) originally joined the Lichties in January 2016 when he joined on-loan from Dundee and went on to score against East Stirlingshire in only his second appearance before adding another goal against Elgin City on the final day of the season.
Manager Dick Campbell was impressed with Josh and took him back on a season long loan for 2016 / 2017 and Josh made an instant impact as he scored a stunning goal against Elgin City to secure a win at Borough Briggs.
Goals followed in his next two games against Stirling Albion and Clyde. Perhaps his most memorable goal of that season was a last minute winner down at Annan Athletic. A further goal game against Cowdenbeath in a must win match for the Lichties.
Josh’s season came sadly to an end in February after he sustained an injury against Cowdenbeath.
In May 2017 manager Dick Campbell signed Josh permanently after his departure from Dundee.
Unfortunately this season was more frustrating for Josh as he was hit twice with injuries but got back to full fitness towards the final quarter of the season.
Josh leaves Gayfield with our best wishes, thanks and a League 2 medal.
We hope Josh secures a new club soon and progresses in his footballing career.
