WELCOME INNES MURRAY
Arbroath FC are delighted to announce that former Hibernian and Edinburgh City attacking midfielder Innes Murray has agreed to sign an 18-month contract at Gayfield.
Innes, who is 25-years-old can play either in the middle or out wide will offer extra versatility to the squad, becomes Jim McIntyre’s first signing and will be available for selection from January 1st 2024.
Innes had begun the season at Edinburgh City and is now delighted to agree the deal to take him to Gayfield Park for the next year and a half at least.
Innes explained “I am really excited to join Arbroath and get started with the boys, I had a really detailed and positive chat with the Manager and it made it a really easy decision for me.
His plans and aims for the future are exciting and I am looking forward to playing my part for the side in climbing the Championship table.”
Manager Jim McIntyre spoke on his first signing for the Club “Innes is a very good signing for the Club and a player who can offer us various options going forward. At 25, he is at a very good age to really progress his development as a player and we are delighted to have him join the squad.”
