Luke Donnelly’s 47th minute goal gave the Lichties a deserved 3 points in Inverness on Saturday afternoon.
The Lichties started off strongly attacking the Inverness goal with Scott Stewart and Bobby Linn on either wing looking threatening everytime they got on the ball with Jordan White forcing Derek Gaston into a save in the 30th minute, however in the 41st minute Mark Ridgers denied Bobby Linn with a fantastic save.
The second half was only two minutes old when Arbroath took the lead. Scott Stewart picked up the ball on the wing before exchanging passes with David Gold. The ball eventually found Bobby Linn who ran to the byline before picking out Luke Donnelly who fired the ball into the net!
The Lichties continued to look for a second goal with Mark Whatley shooting wide from a tight angle in the 48th minute before another Bobby Linn cut back was blocked just as David Gold went to hit the ball.
Substitute Greig Spence also came close twice with Inverness Caledonian Thistle Goalkeeper being voted Home Man of the Match really tells the story of the afternoon.
