Arbroath FC Hall of Fame Celebration Dinner – Friday 9 September 2016
The Directors of Arbroath FC are delighted to announce that the Club is to hold a Hall of Fame Gala Dinner this year to mark the induction of new members into Arbroath FC’s Hall of Fame.
The Club is extremely proud of our history and it is fitting that Arbroath FC recognise the players and managers who have contributed to the Club’s history.
The evening will take the form of a Gala Dinner which will be held within a Marquee which will be erected on the pitch at Gayfield Stadium. Guests will enjoy a lovely 3 Course Dinner which will be followed by a variety of evening entertainment.
The evening will be hosted by Mr Bill Leckie, a Scottish sports journalist and broadcaster who currently writes for the Scottish edition of the Sun newspaper. The other main speakers on the evening are comedian Bill Copeland who is a very accomplished after dinner speaker who has featured on Radio Scotland early morning chat show with Fred McAuley. The evening will be complete with larger than life Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell entertaining the crowd with his footballing stories. It is also hoped that some very notable individuals from Scottish Football will also be in attendance to support the main Speakers.
The Hall of Fame Gala Dinner is an evening of entertainment set in a wonderful setting to recognise the significant achievements of Players, Managers and Officials who have made a very significant contribution to the successful operation of Arbroath FC over the years. Last year the first three people were inducted into the Hall of Fame and this was a truly memorable occasion for everyone in attendance and in particular the families of Ned Doig, Albert Henderson and Tom Cargill.
Tickets for this historical Celebration are priced at £45 and bookings for Tables of 10 can be taken by contacting the Club on 01241 872157 or by emailing [email protected]

This really is a do not miss event which lets the Arbroath public have an evenings enjoyment in an incredible setting, whilst raising money for a cause that has affected all of us. The club are delighted to support such a worthy charity by helping to play its part and contribute to Arbroath’s award winning Relay for Life charity.
