Greenock Morton vs Arbroath – Match Preview
cinch Scottish Championship – Game 23 – Season 2022/2023
Saturday 28th January 2023, Cappielow Park, Greenock, 3.00pm kick off
The Lichties travel to the West Coast today to take on Dougie Imrie’s Greenock Morton.
The first trip of the season to Cappielow resulted in 3 points for the Lichties thanks to goals from Dale Hilson and Michael McKenna.
Morton have strengthened over the window with Calvin Miller, George Oakley and Ally Roy all coming in but Darren Hynes, Kyle Jacobs, Lewis McGregor and Jaze Kabia have all left with Captain Grant Gillespie suspended and Lewis Strapp a major doubt after picking up an injury at Parkhead last weekend.
Arbroath should welcome Steven Hetherington into the squad for the first time with injury and being cup tied keeping him out of the last two games with Toyosi Olusanya also raring to make his debut.
It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.
C’mon the Lichties!
