Greenock Morton vs Arbroath – Match Preview
cinch Scottish Championship – Game 08 – Season 2022/2023
Saturday 17th September 2022, Cappielow Park, Greenock, 3.00pm kick off
Arbroath travel down to Greenock today to take on Dougie Imrie’s Greenock Morton.
Morton who sit 6th in the Championship with 8 points have 2 wins over Inverness and Cove Rangers and have picked up points in draws against Dundee and Hamilton Accies.
Former loan Lichtie Carlo Pignatiello made the move to Cappielow over the summer from Livingston, with Colin Hamilton’s brother Jack making the move to Livingston.
Arbroath will be without Thomas O’Brien and Scott Allan who both miss out due to suspension, but everyone else should be fit and available for selection for Manager Dick Campbell.
Cappielow has always proved to be a tough place to visit for the Lichties in recent years, but we hope we can get our first win on the board.
It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.
C’mon the Lichties!
