Last night we had our very first Football Fans in Training of the new session.
This 12 week course happens at Gayfield every Monday from 6pm to 7.30pm
Unfortunately we have had several people cancel at the last moment, so we are back in the hunt for more participants.
Remember it is completely free!
There are a few simple criteria you have to meet to enter.
If you are aged 35 and over
Have a BMI of 28+
Men – waist size in excessive of 38”
Women – Dress size 16+
It is a fun way to get fit and make new friends and our previous groups have all found that they look out for one another keeping the motivation up!

It is the perfect course if you have an interest in improving your health, losing weight and getting active!
Open to both men and women, Football Fans In Training provides football fans with an opportunity to become healthier, lose weight, and to become happier at the same time.
You’ll get a behind the scenes look at your club, be trained by selected club coaches, have a nosy at the trophy cabinet and have the chance to talk tactics in the dressing rooms. Who knows, maybe you’ll even bump into a player or two!
The programme is held at Gayfield Park and will start in Monday 7th January 2019 for 12 weeks from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Participants can only take part in one programme.
The meetings will take place in the evening and will last 90 minutes.
The 90 minutes will be split in half with the first 45 minutes on discussing positive changes to your lifestyle then 45 minutes of physical activity.
