After 9 very successful weeks of the latest The SPFL Trust Football Fans In Training (FFIT) course we have paused our current course until circumstances change.
It was disappointing for the participants who were not only enjoying themselves but were beginning to show the benefits of taking the course.
We are extremely proud of all our participants for the changes and progress they have made and the new friendships they have forged.
Course coordinator Laura Costello said “Within my time in the fitness industry I have delivered a variety of fitness programmes and the FFIT programme is by far the most enjoyable.
The information provided is simple yet effective. It is not confusing and is delivered in a way in which the participants can easily build into their everyday lives.
The group support that the FFIT programme is invaluable – it gives participants the opportunity to discuss a variety of issues they face daily with others who are dealing with the same obstacles.
New fitness experiences are offered, ideas are exchanged, obstacles are overcome and friendships are built all within the FFIT programme.
The success of every FFIT programme is very much dependant on the club and Arbroath FC have done everything to ensure the group are well looked after.
They have made sure the group has access to all facilities and have made this wonderful programme accessible to everyone.”
Arbroath FC Director Brian Cargill who organised the course on behalf of the club said that “It was disappointing that the course had to stop as the participants were clearly enjoying themselves on the course and they were beginning to show the benefit in their health and fitness.
Hopefully soon they will all be able to return to Gayfield to finish off the course and achieve their individual goals.”
In the mean time here are some quotes from some our participants who were all benefiting from FFIT.
Stay safe and keep going!
