Dunfermline Athletic vs Arbroath – Match Preview
cinch Scottish Championship – Game 04 – Season 2021/2022
Saturday 28th August 2021, East End Park, Dunfermline, 3.00pm kick off
Arbroath travel to Fife today to take on Dunfermline Athletic in our 4th match of the cinch Scottish Championship.
Dunfermline Athletic’s match last Friday came to a premature end when an electrical fault had their match against Raith Rovers suspended after just 13 minutes. Prior to that Dunfermline picked up a point against Greenock Morton on the opening game of the season before crashing to a 3-0 lose to Partick Thistle at East End Park in match day 2.
There has been a huge turn around in playing staff this season with 9 new players arriving with Craig Wighton’s loan being made permanent. Of course Peter Grant also made the summer move to Fife having left Alloa Athletic to take over as Manager of the Pars.
Arbroath who will still be on a high after last week’s performance against Partick Thistle should welcome back Harrison Clark to the squad and it is hope Chris Hamilton will be fit also and with Jason Thomson also available selection, Manager Dick Campbell should have a full squad to chose from.
Arbroath have had a tough time at East End Park over the years, but last season pushed Dunfermline all the way in a thrilling 4-3 match. Arbroath are due a win there, and we are all hoping it can be tomorrow.
It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.
C’mon the Lichties!
