Dundee vs Arbroath – Match Preview

Ladbrokes Championship – Game 06 – Season 2020 / 2021

Saturday 5th December 2020, Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park, Dundee, 3.00pm kick off

Arbroath make the short trip south to Dundee tomorrow afternoon for only our 35th competitive match in the club’s history. Dundee currently lead the way with 23 wins, Arbroath on 7 wins, and 4 draws.

Last season Dundee claimed their 23rd win in a 2-0 win at Den’s Park, before the sides played out a 1-1 draw at Gayfield with a Bobby Linn goal being cancelled out by Kane Hemmings.

The match due to be played on the 29th February was postponed due to a flooded pitch at Den’s Park before the Pandemic cut the season short.

Dundee have one win so far this season over Greenock Morton and have drawn with Raith Rovers and Alloa Athletic whilst suffering defeat at the hands of Heart of Midlothian and Ayr United.

Arbroath will welcome back David Gold who served a one-match suspension last weekend in the Betfred Cup and Manager Dick Campbell will be hoping Connor Smith and Captain Thomas O’Brien will be fit enough to return to the squad.

It will be another tough game for the Lichties, but we hope you will be cheering us on from home.

C’mon the Lichties
