Donald McCallum Biography
Donald, who now lives in Glasgow although his home town is Campbeltown, is a product of the Sons Youth Development Initiative, coming through the ranks of the youth teams.
He was promoted to the first team squad in January 2015 and scored his first league goal in a 5-1 defeat at home to Livingston. He contributed two goals in only 26 minutes of first team football that season and carried that promise on into the 2015/16 season.
He scored after 19 seconds of a Scottish Cup tie with Alloa in December 2015 which Sons went on to win 5-0. At the end of that campaign, he signed his second professional contract at Dumbarton.
