David Gold – Contract Extension
We are delighted to announce that our popular midfielder David Gold has signed a new contract extension which will see him extend his time at Gayfield until the end of the 2024/2025 season which will be his 10th season with Arbroath.
David signed for the Club in the summer of 2015 and has just completed his 8th season and now sits at 268 Competitive appearances for the Club with 15 goals and 1 clean sheet!
Popular amongst all demographics of the Arbroath supporters, it is perhaps our young fans who really look up to Goldie with his Gold & Gray Soccer Academy with many of them having attended his camps over the years, and with a new link up with the Arbroath FC Community Trust there will be even more young Arbroath supporters who will benefit from David’s experience and skill.
David has set on record that one day he wants to manage Arbroath, but at just 30 years-old we know there are many seasons ahead on the pitch!
We hope David enjoys his summer break and we will look forward to his return with his new contract extension.
