Arbroath extended their undefeated away run to 14 matches as they kept on the pressure in the race for the Ladbrokes League 2 title.
A clever free kick by Man of the Match Ryan McCord allowed Steven Doris to net in the 20th minute, before McCord himself took advantage of poor defending to double the Lichties lead in the 48th minute. Cowdenbeath Captain Scott Rumsby pulled a goal back in the 62nd minute. Arbroath missed a few good openings in the second half but held on to be only one point from the top of the table with only 6 points to play for.
