Continuity has benefited our club on and off the pitch in recents years. We have been working hard to make sure that continues.
We are delighted to announce tonight 7 players who have extended their contracts.

C’mon the Lichties
Michael McKenna – June 2024
Michael McKenna, with 11 goals + 6 assists in the Championship this season so far and covering every inch of the pitch in every match, you get everything with Mikey in your team! We know that our fans will be delighted to hear Mikey has signed a new deal!
Scott Stewart – June 2024
Scott Stewart joined the club in June 2019 and has been a key part of our success in the Championship. This season Scott’s performances have been incredible week in and out and must be in early running for player of the year. We are delighted he has committed his future to the club!
Colin Hamilton – June 2024
In his 7th season in total as a Lichtie, Hammy also has won League 2 and League 1 with us, including that goal! Hammy would run through brick walls for us and we share that love back for him. A huge player for us and an integral part of our defence!
David Gold – June 2024
David Gold joined the club in 2015, and is the 3rd longest continuous serving player at Gayfield. Having won League 1 and 2 with Arbroath, Goldie is a fan favourite and has done lots of work in the local community and has pledged his future to the club!
Jason Thomson – June 2023
Jason Thomson joined the club in the summer of 2018 and won League One in his debut season. A model professional and an integral key of our back 4, we are delighted JT has signed a new contract at Gayfield.
Luke Donnelly – June 2023
Luke Donnelly originally signed for Arbroath in January 2019 and has went on to score some really important goals as well as being a big player for the team. LD extends his contract at Gayfield until June 2023!
Dylan Paterson – June 2023
21-year-old Dylan Paterson has signed a new contract to remain at Gayfield until June 2023. Dylan is currently on loan at Bo’ness Athletic but is very highly rated by Dick Campbell and has signed a new deal to remain at Gayfield.
