Everyone at Arbroath FC would like to congratulate the Arbroath Walking Football Team who won the end of season Over 50’s Champions League.
6 teams gathered at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Wishaw to take part in the end of season Over 50’s Champions League.
The top 2 teams from the East, Central and West Regional Leagues met to compete to be crowned Over 50’s champions, with Arbroath coming out on top undefeated.
With a late withdrawal from St James Scottish Walking Football were hugely thankful to Linlithgow Rose who stepped in at late notice to take their place today.
Scottish Walking Football were pleased to welcome their patron former Scotland Manager, Craig Brown who presented the trophy today and a special thanks to both him and Rose Reilly for the dedicated support they provide to Walking Football Scotland.
Scottish Walking Football thank North Lanarkshire Leisure for hosting everyone and congratulations to the winners, Arbroath and all referees and players who took part.
