Many supporters who have attended games at Gayfield over the summer will have noticed the addition of the new lounge which is located outside the main entrance to Gayfield’s main stand.
This new addition to Gayfield, which allows us to entertain even more guests and welcome more supporters to experience our Hospitality Experience.
Not only will the lounge offer our outstanding Hospitality but it is fully accessible with a wheelchair ramp and disabled toilet, giving our all our guests the chance to enter the Champions Lounge.
The Champions Lounge would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the many good friends and business owners of Arbroath Football Club. Our local community has once again came forward and helped the club.
These photographs document the building process from the empty forecourt outside of the main stand to the laying of the foundations and the placement of a Porta cabin which would be transformed into a first class lounge with fully working kitchen and bar facilities.
The first stage of the livery on the side of the building has been put in place and already proved a popular selfie spot with fans of all ages and got the seal of approval from Manager Dick Campbell.
On Saturday we invited all of those individuals and businesses who have helped bring the Champions Lounge to life as a thank you for their time and efforts.
Arbroath FC Chairman Mike Caird said “We couldn’t have added this fantastic facility at the club without the immense team effort of everyone who all give up their spare time and pulled together for the benefit of the Club over the summer, so on behalf of the Board of Directors I would like to thank everyone who were involved with a special mention also to Director Jonny Booth who has site managed the project from start to finish.”
If you would like to experience it for yourself, please visit our website for all the details.
Thank you again,
C’mon the Lichties!
