Hello Lichtie Fans and the Klingons out there, all the players have really enjoyed pre season so far. The atmosphere is very positive and it’s been an enjoyable place to be. Training has been sharp, Ewan (sports scientist) has worked us hard to improve our fitness levels whilst the Gaffer, Pink and Youngy have given us lots of the ball and game related work in preparation for the games coming up. It’s been good to get back into games the past week. Although these games are focused upon improving fitness and getting ready for the competitive games its always good to win any game of football. So it’s been good to get a couple of wins and a couple of clean sheets so far. It’s obvious to see the quality of the new signings and what they will bring to the team, as well as the boys that have been here for a few years. Everyone is looking forward to these next few pre season games in preparation for our first competitive fixture of the season against Dundee United. Hope you are all looking forward to the new season as much as the players are!
