Brechin City vs Arbroath – Match Preview
Match Day 33 – Ladbrokes League One – Season 2018 / 2019
Saturday 13th April 2019, Glebe Park, Brechin, 3.00pm kick off
The Lichties make the very short trip to Glebe Park tomorrow as we face Brechin City.
It is a huge game for both clubs as the results could have huge implications at either end of the table.
A point is all that is required for Arbroath to be crowned league winners, whilst Brechin City sit in the relegation play-off spot with only 6 points separating the bottom 4 sides.
We can guarantee that Brechin City Manager Barry Smith will have his team fired up just like we faced at Forfar Athletic a fortnight ago.
Arbroath will be looking for the same energy and commitment and drive that they showed last week against Montrose in a game which despite the single goal the Lichties dominated.
Brechin City Team News
Dene Shields has been a long term injury for Brechin this season and looks to miss out but Brechin should welcome back Ryan McGeever after suspension for his red-card picked up against Montrose.
Arbroath Team News
Bobby Linn looks to be out for the season for the Lichties so Manager Dick Campbell will be hoping that Omar Kader and Danny Denholm can once again shine like they did last week against Montrose.
The defence will be on full alert as if they keep a clean sheet then they are guaranteed that vital point.
There are many buses traveling up to Brechin and we need your full support from the very first minute. Enjoy your day!
