Arbroath had the honour of being the first competitive visitors to the revamped home of FC Edinburgh, Meadowbank Stadium, on Saturday.
While it was a homecoming for the capital side, the headlines on the park were all about Dick Campbell’s men, who came from a goal behind to win 3-1. Lichties legend Bobby Linn rolled back the years with a dazzling display off the bench, scoring twice on the way to victory.
Linn followed up a stunning 75th-minute volley, with a top corner piledriver from outside the box just six minutes later. At 36 years old, the winger still has plenty left to give!
