Arbroath recorded a fine 2-0 away win at Berwick Rangers on Saturday thanks to a first half penalty won by Bobby Linn and converted by Steven Doris in the 38th minute. The second half was in it’s infancy when Berwick’s Lee Hamilton suffered a neck injury as he fell. He was rushed to hospital in Edinburgh as a precaution but there was relief all round as he was released from hospital on Saturday evening.
After a 10 minute delay the game carried on but neither team could find the net, but Martin Scott sealed the points for Arbroath with a cool finish and a much deserved victory
