Arbroath FC Kit Auction
Arbroath FC Kit Auction
We all have a favourite player! Do you have a favourite kit number too?
Was it the #8 home shirt of Michael McKenna?
Perhaps it was Captain Mark Whatley in his #6 Shirt?
Maybe the #4 shirt of Ricky Little?
Could it be Bobby Linn #11
Or maybe the safe hands of Darren Jamieson as our #1
Arbroath FC are offering supporters a unique opportunity to purchase something special from the 2018/2019 League One title winning season.
Each of the individual first team playing kits are now available at auction to the highest bidder.
Not only will you have the a piece of history but you will be helping Arbroath FC as all funds raised will be ploughed back directly into the club.
Both the Pendle Maroon home kit (Shirt, shorts and socks) kit and the Black and Maroon Away kit (Shirt, shorts and socks) which was worn on the day the team clinched the title at Brechin are available
With numbers 1 to 18 (no #13 shirt) and the 2nd goalkeeper kit number 21 individually available.
Shirt Numbers (and players who wore them most this season)
7 – Omar Kader/ David Gold/ Danny Denholm / Michael McKenna
Having successfully auctioned the Ladbrokes League 2 winning shirts in 2017 we learned some valuable lessons.
Bidders are advised to confidentially indicate their initial bid and the maximum amount they would wish to pay for a kit.
Also supporters are asked not to wait until the last minute to place their bid as some bidders missed out last time due to the large number of last minute bids.
This is the best way to ensure that you don’t miss out on the kit that you want to buy.
The auction closes at 6pm on Sunday 26th May 2019 so don’t risk losing the kit that you really want.
Please complete this information when you email or text your bid.
Which Kit and Number you Want – i.e. Away Number 9
Supporters are invited to submit bids for the kit of their choice by emailing [email protected] or texting Brian Cargill on 07793-070168.
A confirmation email or text of your bid will be sent and bidders will also be advised if they have been outbid to give an opportunity to increase their own bid should they wish.
There is a minimum bid of £20 for each kit. It is more than likely that bidding will surpass the minimum bid.
The auction closes at 6pm on Sunday 26th May 2019
The previous auction in 2017 proved to be very popular and we are sure that the kits that won the club their biggest ever honour will prove even more popular.
This fundraiser will help the club to make the best challenge that we can in the Championship next year.
Thank you for your support last season and we are all eagerly looking forward to next season.
Good luck and C’mon the Lichties!
