Arbroath vs Raith Rovers – Match Preview
Match Day 18 – Ladbrokes League One – Season 2018 / 2019
Saturday 22nd December 2018, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off
We welcome Raith Rovers to Gayfield tomorrow for the 18th game of the season and the half way point of the season.
It is the most anticipated fixture of the season so far as the two sides who lead the pack meet for the second time this season.
Most supporters and pundits had Raith Rovers down as title favourites but so far it is the Lichties who have set the pace but everyone knows at Gayfield that Raith Rovers will strengthen in January and put up a fight for the second half of the season.
Rovers have been boosted with the return of key player Lewis Vaughan from injury and he will likely feature tomorrow.
Our last 3 games have all been very close affairs with 3 draws and full of energy and drama – tomorrow will be no different!
Arbroath Team News
Arbroath will welcome Thomas O’Brien from his one match suspension tomorrow and Steven Doris could be in line for a return as he is set to face Raith Rovers for the first time after missing all 5 games over the last season and a half through injury.
We know tomorrow will be our hardest game of the season. WE NEED YOU!
A home game at Gayfield with a huge VOCAL Lichtie support will really push the players. Please be our 12th man! We will need the full support of the home crowd.
