Arbroath vs Queen of the South – Match Preview
cinch Scottish Championship – Game 14 – Season 2021/2022
Saturday 13th November 2021, Gayfield Park, Arbroath, 3.00pm kick off
We welcome Alan Johnston’s Queen of the South to Gayfield tomorrow for their first visit of the season and our 14th Championship game of the season.
Since our earlier meeting in the season the Doonhammers have added striker Innes Cameron on loan from Kilmarnock. The tall striker netted against the Lichties last season when he was on loan at Alloa Athletic.
Queen of the South come into tomorrow’s match with a win away to Hamilton Accies, an away defeat to Kilmarnock and from last week’s draw at home to Raith Rovers who left it late to rescue a point.
Queen of the South are always a quick team with Lee Connelly having an outstanding season so far and has netted four goals.
Arbroath will be looking back to finding their scoring touch after a frustrating draw away to Hamilton last weekend in a match which they dominated but just couldn’t find the back of the net until the 91st minute.
With Nicky Low the only absentee as he continues his come back, Arbroath Manager Dick Campbell should have his full quota of players to select from.
It will be another extremely tough match but we hope you can get right behind the team from the very start.
C’mon the Lichties!
